Our History
The inaugural season of the Rising Ramblers girls' Feeder Basketball Program was an undeniable success, marking an exciting new chapter in Loyola’s athletic tradition. In its first year, the program proudly fielded teams at the 6th (2 teams), 7th (1 team), and 8th (2 teams) grade levels, providing young athletes with the opportunity to develop their skills, compete with pride, and build lasting friendships on and off the court. The girls were able to learn the offense and defensive systems of the current Loyla Academy program. The teams showcased remarkable growth, sportsmanship, and resilience throughout the season, earning impressive victories and gaining the respect of their opponents. Beyond the wins, the Rising Ramblers' spirit was felt in every practice, game, and team huddle, laying a strong foundation for a program destined to thrive for years to come!
Our Philosophy
At Rising Ramblers, we believe in developing the whole athlete — nurturing skills on the court while building character, confidence, and leadership off it. Our program is dedicated to creating a positive, competitive environment where 6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls can grow as teammates, competitors, and individuals. We focus on teaching the fundamentals of the game, fostering a love for basketball, and instilling habits that prepare our athletes for success at the high school level. Through teamwork, discipline, and resilience, we aim to shape young athletes who not only excel in sports but also carry the lessons of hard work, respect, and perseverance into every area of their lives.

Being a part of Rising Ramblers, achievement is not simply measured by wins and losses, but by the growth, development, and joy our young athletes experience as they deepen their connection to the game. Our program introduces players to the Loyola Academy Rambler basketball system, building a strong foundation of fundamental skills, teamwork, and court awareness while nurturing a genuine love for the sport. Every practice, drill, and game is an opportunity to strengthen character, forge lasting friendships, and inspire confidence in our athletes.
